Block Bank of Baroda Debit Card through Customer Care Number
BOB customer care provides a fast and effective method to block your debit card. As a Bank of Baroda customer, you can make a call on their customer care number 1800 102 4455 or 1800 2584455 and request for card block. The service is free 24X7 and can be accessed through any mobile number or landline number in the country.
The card can be blocked through the IVR option. However, if you have difficulty in blocking the card through this option, then you can get connected to the BOB executive. The executive would ask some important questions and once satisfied would continue to immediately block the card.
Block Bank of Baroda Debit Card through SMS Facility
SMS facility is an easy method to block your BOB card from your registered mobile number. There are three ways by which you can block your card.
- In the instance that you remember your debit card number then you should send the SMS in block letters in the format
BLOCK <space> C <space> XXXX to 8422009988 (here XXXX is the last four digits of your debit cum ATM card). Hence, if your card number is 4018951234567889, type BLOCK C 7899.
- In the instance you remember your account number, you can block the debit card in the format
BLOCK <space> A <space> XXXX to 8422009988. Here XXXX is the last four digits of your account number. For example, if your account number is 1852040000722, type BLOCK A 0722.
In case, you have multiple debit cards from the same account number, then you will receive a list of all the active cards on your cell phone in the form of a SMS. You will then have to initiate another hotlist with the specific card number needed to be blocked.
- If for instance, you do not remember your debit card number and your account number then you simply have to type BLOCK <space> ALL from your registered mobile number and all the associated cards with get blocked.
Block Bank of Baroda Debit Card through Net Banking
- Log in to your Bank of Baroda net banking portal www.bankofbaroda.in.
- Go to “Services” section.
- Select “My Account”
- Opt for “Debit Card Blocking” option
Block Bank of Baroda Debit Card through M-Connect Plus
- Download M-Connect App and log in into it
- Select “Request Service”
- Choose the option “Debit Card Hotlisting” and block the card effectively.
