How to Get Learner’s License from Your State RTO?

Learners License Driving Test is the first step that every driving license prospect must go take to acquire his or her permanent driving license. After getting this license, the aspirant can drive on Indian roads legally for 6 months or until the aspirant passes the permanent license test.

Learner’s License Driving Test examines your knowledge and cognitive ability to remember the road safety rules. The aspirant needs to have a sound knowledge of road safety rules to pass the examination. so make sure you remember the changes in the motor vehicle rules.

Learner’s License test is a Computer Based Test where you will be provided with 15 questions out of which you have to answer 9 correct answers. Some states RTO have different passing criteria like 10, 8, etc. there is also a time constraint for each question. The aspirants will be provided with 60 seconds to answer each question.

The candidates who successfully pass the examination will be provided with a printout of the learner’s license test from the same examination center and on the same day. Learners License Online Application

There are different RTO departments for each state and some of them accept the online application. You can follow these steps to apply for a driving license online-

• Visit the official website of RTO parivahan sarthi
• Select your state from the drop-down list
• Now a new window will appear with several options, choose “Apply for learner license” option
• You will be redirected to a different page with three options, choose “Applicant does not hold Driving/ Learner License” option
• Now from the provided list choose your area’s RTO office
• A new window will appear where you have to insert your mobile number followed by generating OTP.
• After validating the OTP, your application form will appear where you have to fill each and every column carefully
• Now you have to upload the documents mentioned below which also include an image of your signature and a passport size photo
• Now, pay the application fee and proceed further with your LL slot booking
• You can choose anytime that you are comfortable with.
• Now you have to visit your RTO office on the appointment date and give the test

Learner’s License Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for Learner’s License test-

• The aspirant must be a citizen of India with valid ID proof and resident proof.
• The minimum age for applying for a driving license is 18 years old and He/she should be aware of traffic rules and regulations.

Documents Required For Learners Driving License

The following are the documents required by the applicant to carry while visiting the examination center-

• Application- cum – Declaration as to physical fitness, Form-1
• Two copies of the applicant’s recent passport size photograph.
• Valid Form-1A (for transport vehicle license and for applicants above 40 years of age in case of other categories)
• Application for grant of learner’s license Form – 2
• Self-Attested copy of proof of residence, age and education qualification- minimum 8th standard Pass (for transport vehicle’s license)
• Copy of effective light motor vehicle driving license, already held for at least one year (in case of transport vehicle learner’s license) and completed the age of 20 years on the date of application.
• Prescribed fee

Learning License Online Application for E-Rikshaw

The applicant can apply for E-rikshaw using the offline method by visiting the nearest RTO office between the business hours and requires the form.

Now, the applicant must fill-up the form with care and submit the form along with the below-mentioned documents also make sure you pay the application fee as well. You can pay the application fee online and submit the payment receipt with the form and documents. You will be allotted time and date for the E-cart learner license test.
