You can apply for the Duplicate PAN Card. You can apply using both online and offline methods by following these steps-

Online

  • You’ll have to visit the official website of the Income Tax Department’s PAN Card Services page i.e., NSDL or UTIITSL
  • Now, you’ll have to choose the ‘Reprint of the PAN Card’ option from the dropdown followed by entering your PAN Card Details like name, address, Aadhaar card number, etc.
  • Now, upload the necessary documents mentioned below like ID proof, address proof, etc.
  • After uploading the document, you’ll have to pay the application fee for the duplicate PAN card
  • Now, an acknowledgement number will be generated which you can use for future references of your application
  • You’ll receive your Duplicate PAN Card within a few days of application submission

Offline

  • Download and Print the application form for “Request for New PAN Changes or Correction in PAN Data” from the official website of the NSDL or UTIITSL
  • Now, fill the form with accurate details like PAN Card Number, name, address, and other details
  • After filling out the form, you’ll have to attach your photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression on the form followed by attaching the documents mentioned below
  • Now, you’ll have to submit the duly filled application form to the PAN Card office or you’ll have to send it via post to the correspondence address
  • The application form fee has to be paid by cash/cheque or DD at the counter while submitting the application form or via DD in case of postal method
  • You’ll receive your duplicate PAN Card within a few days of application submission

Documents Required for Duplicate PAN Card

The following are the documents required for a Duplicate PAN card-

  • Identity Proof- Aadhaar Card, driver’s license, voter ID, etc.
  • Address Proof- Aadhaar, bank account statements, utility bills, etc.

  • PAN allotment letter or a self-attested copy of PAN Card
